What is a kids' pegboard and how can it be used?
A kids' pegboard is a perforated wall panel that holds pegs, shelves and hooks in any hole, so the layout can be rearranged at any time without drilling again. It is used for toy display and storage, for a visual day plan or habit tracker, for photos and drawings, and — with the add-on sets — for marble runs, ring toss, letters and numbers. It uses wall space instead of floor space, which matters most in small or shared rooms.
What is the difference between a Montessori pegboard and a busy board?
A busy board has its activities fixed to it: latches, zips and switches are screwed down and stay where they are. On a pegboard everything is removable, because the board itself is only a grid of holes. TThat is why a pegboard can stay useful as a child grows — the same panel holds a marble run at three and a homework station at nine. A busy board is one toy; a pegboard is a surface that different toys and tools attach to.
Which Pegboard Set should I choose: Play, Learning, or Storage?
Choose by what you want the wall to do. The Play Set is marble-run tracks, balls, a ring toss and shape puzzles — for cause and effect, aim and construction. The Educational Set is 112 letter and number tokens, 12 emotion faces and shape puzzles — for letters, reading, sums and naming feelings. The Storage Set is shelves, hooks, a wave hook rail and cotton bags — for keeping a room in order at the child's own height. All three fit the same board, so the choice is only about where you start. Sets are sold separately.
How many pegboard panels do I need for a playroom or kids' room?
One panel is enough for one job at a time — a toy display above a bed, or a day plan beside the door. Two panels side by side cover play and storage at once. Three or more make a full wall composition, and because he five colours — Ivory, Blue, Pink, Green and Natural — are designed to mix and match. Panels mount side by side, stacked, or spaced apart as separate accents.
Can I combine different pegboard sets and rearrange them later?
Yes. Every panel and every accessory in the Goodevas system shares the same hole grid, so anything from any set fits anywhere on any board — a Play Set and a Storage Set can live on one panel. Rearranging takes seconds and needs no tools, and the board stays on its original fixings: the layout changes, the wall does not.
What age is the Goodevas Pegboard suitable for?
From 3 years old. It contains small parts and is not suitable for children under 3. The board carries CE marking and is tested to EN 71-1 for the EU and UK, and to ASTM F963 with a Children's Product Certificate for the United States. For indoor use only.
Is the pegboard only suitable for children?
No. While the Goodevas Pegboard is designed with children in mind, its modular system works just as well for adults. With shelves, hooks and storage accessories, it can be used as an organiser in a home office, craft room, hallway, kitchen or other living space. As your needs change, simply rearrange the accessories without changing the panel itself.
